Full Disclosure: I just bought $1,000,000 of this stock. [Katusa Research] Dear Reader, This was a LONG time coming. When I first heard about this company and looked into it a year ago, I found a company backed by the largest lithium fund in the world, a very smart management team, and an incredible asset. The stock ripped out of the gates. But over the coming months, I became more and more interested in lithium as the lithium market started selling and leveling off. Prices were coming off their excessive peaks, thanks in part to China’s Lithium Price War (Cut the price to Kill the competition – I call it Cut To Kill). The more I dug deep into the sector, the more I found on prices and projects from the past 100 years. Some people watch Netflix and Prime at night, but I’m a junkie for resource project knowledge. Like an alligator investor, I patiently waited to get an entry point in this stock. In fact, I waited for 12 months until this stock could get into my buying range, and then I bought my first tranche, putting $1,000,000 of my own money into it. I liked the location (North America), because unlike the lithium in certain parts of the world, it will not be nationalized. In addition, infrastructure is a big cost that most lithium mines in South America will have to build. But, another benefit of this project is the existing infrastructure that will help make this mine become a low-cost producer one day. I LOVED the Grades… Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t get excited about a stock easily. So, I set about trying to figure out everything that was wrong with it. - Were the numbers real?
- Was there an ownership issue?
- Are there cheap penny shares that would hit the market? So, I got in touch with the CEO. And then I talked with his major financial backers. One of which turned a small million-dollar lithium fund into nearly a billion dollars over a decade. In fact, when I made my first lithium investment in 2007 (it turned into a 20-bagger and was eventually bought out), this specific fund manager was also starting out and I watched him build an empire by becoming the most knowledgeable lithium investor on the planet. He made this company his largest lithium investment. That had my attention. The “A HA!” Moment That Smacked Me in the Face… My chief analyst and I modeled this project for weeks and I had some hard-hitting questions for the CEO. Questions that would dictate whether I was going to hang up or start to put serious bids into the market. As I was ripping through my questions with the CEO, I made a comment about what I expected the strip ratio, pit decline, and overall pit depth to be. That’s when the CEO’s comment stopped me dead in my tracks. F*** me, I thought. I had this wrong. This could be a monster lithium deposit… Equivalent to a high-grade, open pit at a surface 12-million-ounce gold deposit in a pro-mining region. It would make this asset a top 5 lithium deposit in North America, and put it in the top 5 globally for value. That’s when I had my “A Ha!” moment. In my opinion, this project will not only get the attention of major auto companies for exposure to such a large, high-grade grade easy to process lithium deposit, but will attract the attention of major mining-producing companies. - “Yeah, that’s what I’m saying!” said the CEO with a smile, “I don’t think people understand this. And now you do.” I’ve accumulated a significant amount of this stock over the past few weeks and recently wrote a report about it to my subscribers. The last time my KRO newsletter recommended a lithium stock was in October 2016. Our thesis was correct, but it took time, and the company was bought out at a significant premium to our initial recommendation price of +500%. Now, For the first time in the history of Katusa Research… I’m going to reveal this stock from behind the premium paywall to you – the person reading this on Katusa’s Investment Insights list. This company is too good to ignore. But know the risks, this company does not have cash flow, you could lose all your money. It could go to zero, but then again, I didn’t put $1,000,000 into buying shares in the open market because I thought this would be the case. And I’m severely biased, in fact, I have over a million reasons to be biased, as you can tell. I’m putting the finishing touches on this one-of-a-kind company alert. And this is a high-risk, high-reward territory, not for the faint of heart. But I think this company has the potential to become the largest lithium deposit in North America… As does the most successful lithium fund manager in the world. And will attract the attention of a major company like my previous two lithium investments have. First thing tomorrow morning at 6am Pacific Time, before the market opens. I’m going to push SEND and fire this alert to your inbox. Make sure you have your email whitelisted to Katusa Research. This is a company you do not want to miss looking into.
