In the News [Katie Couric and Gwen Walz]( Getty Images We all know Tim Walz as Vice President Kamala Harrisâ running mate who gives off big midwestern dad energy.... and other members of his family have entered the spotlight since his VP nomination. [In my latest episode of Next Question](, I sat down with Tim's wife, and potentially America's next second lady, Gwen Walz. She discussed the importance of finding common ground with people who might not agree with you. "What I still see across this country is that we value the same things," she said, pointing to issues like housing and abortion rights. But she made it clear that does not include former President Trump and J.D. Vance: âI'm talking about real legitimate conversation⦠not bullying," she said. Walz also opened up about her fertility journey, weighed in on Trumpâs attempts to win over women voters, and shared the advice she received from Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and First Lady Jill Biden.
