The agency said Trump was targeted by a gunman at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday — just nine weeks after he survived another attempt on his life. Here’s what we know so far: Secret Service agents opened fire at a man they saw pointing an AK-style rifle at Trump about 400 to 500 yards away from where he was playing on his course. The suspect fled in an SUV, and was apprehended on the freeway. He's been identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, of Hawaii. He's expected to undergo a "mental health assessment" before any potential charges are filed. Trump is safe and unharmed.
