The agency said Trump was targeted by a gunman at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday — just nine weeks after he survived another attempt on his life. Here’s what we know so far: Secret Service agents opened fire at a man they saw pointing an AK-style rifle at Trump about 400 to 500 yards away from where he was playing on his course. The suspect fled in an SUV, and was apprehended on the freeway. He's been identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, of Hawaii. He's expected to undergo a "mental health assessment" before any potential charges are filed. Trump is safe and unharmed. In an email to his supporters, he wrote: “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!” In an update to staff, his campaign managers said that an "evil monster" had tried to take the former president's life. Eight years ago, 32% of women aged 18-29 identified as liberal. Now, around 40% do. Young men's views have grown closer to those of moderates — and just 25% identify as liberal.
