Biden hoped to reassure voters that an 81-year-old could display the vigor necessary to secure a second term, while Trump's performance came on the heels of his historic hush money conviction. To Democrats' dismay, a shaky-looking Biden stumbled over his words, while Trump took full advantage of the opportunity to air out old grievances and ignore the many cracks in his record. We've got the full breakdown, including incisive analysis from political observers — plus the question on everyone's lips: [Could President Biden be replaced as the Democratic candidate?]( [READ MORE]( PASS THIS STORY ALONG: mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20this%20story%20from%20Wake-Up%20Call%21&body=   More Stories [Three small children standing in front of a wall with ''Gaza'' graffiti]( Getty Images Save The Children says over 21,000 children are missing in Gaza. Here's a quick roundup: Emergency abortions: The high court dismissed a closely watched case in Idaho, temporarily granting women the right to an emergency abortion in a state with a near-total ban. The decision leaves the legal question in limbo, and the justices could still take up the issue in another case. Air pollution: The justices paused the Environmental Protection Agency's "good neighbor" rule, which reduced air pollution from power plants and factories that drift across state lines in more than 20 states. Environmental groups said the decision will result in "pollution that endangers the health of millions of people." Purdue Pharma: The court rejected a bankruptcy settlement with Oxycontin maker Purdue Pharma that would've shielded the Sackler family from liability over their role in the opioid crisis. Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote a stern dissent, warning of the "devastating" impact the decision would have on victims.   Honoring History [Black-and-white photo of protesters outside the Stonewall In]( 55 years ago today, a historic act of resistance to LGBTQ+ discrimination erupted at the Stonewall Inn.
