I know a few tricks, but I'm new to this email thing. I'm writing today to tell you more about me and my family, and to ask you to support Tim's campaign for Vice President. [I'm not supposed to beg, so I'm humbly asking you to chip in $25 or whatever you can afford to help elect Tim and Kamala.]( Let me explain: I wasn't always Scout. When I first met the Walzes, I was going by "Gene," the name Midwest Animal Rescue and Services gave me. Back then, I wasn't sure if people were good. They made me pretty nervous. My littermates and I were left in a box in Oklahoma to fend for ourselves at 11 weeks old. But then everything changed. Tim and the family picked me up and started calling me Scout. I think this name fits me much better. This family fits me much better too. The Walzes taught me how to live and love. They're a family of teachers, after all. I learned how to play frisbee when Tim throws it. I learned how to order a pup cup on summer drives to the local Dairy Queen. I learned how to accept those different from me, like my cat sister Honey (I even learned how to steal food from her bowl). Because of Tim, I know people are good. As governor, he's signed legislation enacting paid family and medical leave, investing in public safety, and providing universal free school meals. As a food-motivated voter, that is very important to me. Good people deserve good government. That's what this campaign is all about. Tim talks a lot about the importance of grassroots support. So I dug up some roots in the grass, but I didn't find any out there. I'm hoping you can help me out. He says it comes from people like you chipping in $5, $25, even $50 at a time! {NAME}, we have to band together to defeat Trump (who does not have a dog, I might add). Kamala and Tim are fighting for the people -- and the canines. Trump is fighting for himself. That's like hogging all the treats and asking for more. [So, I'm using my puppy-dog eyes: Please chip in $25 or what you can so Tim can chart a New Way Forward for families like ours. Take it from a good boy -- he's a good guy.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [$25 >>]( [$50 >>]( [$100 >>]( [$250 >>]( [$500 >>]( [Other >>]( That's enough writing for me today. Lots of naps to take and food to steal. Hopefully, I get some peanut butter for writing this one. Woof, Scout Scout Walz First Dog of Minnesota --------------------------------------------------------------- [DONATE]( [TAKE ACTION]( [SHOP]( --------------------------------------------------------------- This email was sent to [{EMAIL}](#). Thank you so much for being a supporter. But {NAME}, we don't want to bother you. If you’d like to unsubscribe from all Harris for President emails, you can [click here](.
