Last week I got to witness history in the making at our party’s convention. And what a week it was, {NAME}. I was showing all of my photos to my family, and I realized that I had to share my experience with folks like you, too. As soon as we got to Chicago, I had the amazing privilege of meeting DNC delegates and Caucus members from across the country, the Democratic Party’s top leaders, and even a few of the incredible speakers, performers, and content creators at the convention. [Tim Walz selfie]( We got to hear from not one, not two, but THREE presidents! (Presidents Biden, Obama, and Clinton.) Their speeches were so powerful. Kamala and I could not be more grateful for their support. [DNCC Crowd]( I got to speak directly to folks, too. (Imagine that, a guy from Nebraska on the DNC stage!) It was so cool to feel the momentum in the room. Just like you: They want to bring our country together. And win this. [DNCC Crowd]( What I will remember for the rest of my life is when the Vice President accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination. It was such a privilege to be with her in that moment and to witness history. [Tim Walz, Gwen Walz, Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris]( You know, we have real momentum coming out of this convention. And we can't afford to lose any steam. Last week is proof that people want to be a part of something that is good. Something that is hopeful and joyous. And something that welcomes them in.
