Here's our Monthly Digest for June 2024! June 2024 Monthly Digest Howdy guitar friend, June has flow

Here's our Monthly Digest for June 2024! [View this email in your browser]( June 2024 Monthly Digest Howdy guitar friend, June has flown by at JustinGuitar! Hope you've had a fantastic month and have been able to find plenty of time to play guitar. :) It's been a busy month at JustinGuitarLand on all fronts—everyone is hard at it and think you'll all appreciate the stuff we have coming for you in the next few months. We’ve all be focussing on delivering the best onboarding experience for our [Blues Immersion - Class 1]( students, and it's going great! Plus, we've announced a masterclasses for them with Blues master [Kirk Fletcher]( in July. Lessons officially started yesterday with Unit 1 and the feedback is great so far! We’re beginning our journey exploring the birth of the Blues in the Delta, and licks in Pattern 1. But with over 30 lessons in Unit 1, there’s a bit to get through. Outside BLIM, things are also on fire. :) I've been up to release weekly song lessons, mostly Blues based things as that is where my head is at. The team is working full force on a page offering free ebooks and other guitar resources for you. We'll take it easy in July (but still busy!), but the forecast for the last few months of 2024 is truly exciting. More about all that is below! Let's take a look. :) Latest Song Lessons [Love in Vain]( - This is a song that's all about feel and nuance. Keith Richard's  work on this song is sublime, and there are loads of cool little phrases to steal. And it’s cool to learn a blues song that isn’t a ‘normal’ 12 Bar Shuffle! The Rolling Stones | [Grade 3]( [Walking By Myself]( - Learn one of the great guitar riffs of all time. It has a catchy rhythm that's an absolute joy to play! Understanding triplets is important here, but if you find it too complicated, learning it just by listening is also fine. Gary Moore | [Grade 4]( [Broken]( - We'll start with a beginner version, then build it up. This song is perfect for practicing your open chords. We'll also discuss simple strumming techniques and ways to add variety to your playing between the verses and the chorus to keep things interesting. lovelytheband | [Grade 2]( [Born Under a Bad Sign]( - This song might sound complicated, but there's a pattern to it followed by nearly all of its cover versions. The super cool rhythm guitar part we explore in this lesson was played by the legend Steve Cropper (of Booker T and the MG’s). Albert King| [Grade 3]( 💡 Get verified tabs and chords with lyrics to my lessons with [JustinGuitar Tabs]( Starting at USD 7.99, and you can try it for free for 7 days. [View All Songs]( Blues Collection on my Songs App! :) Introducing our Blues Collection on the Songs & Lessons App, tailored for beginners! A highlight goes to Blues Dad, a song by the house band - The Musopians, crafted to help you learn Blues guitar. :) Plus, this track talks about spending quality time with your guitar amidst the daily whirlwind of family life. Familiar? ;) [Check Out Blues Collection]( GP8: Last Days to Save! Guitar Pro is on-sale, and this link gives you even MORE discounts! :) GP8 serves four key roles in my guitar routine. It's great for transcribing - intuitive rhythm notation and seamless audio integration. When practicing, it allows me to slow down tracks and loop sections - great for learning songs and scales. It's also a creative tool, as I can experiment with different instruments and ideas. I also use Guitar Pro for teaching through interactive sheet music! :) [Get the Discount]( 💡 [This link]( gets you an extra discount on top of the on-going sale. Final price is USD $44.77 for the Guitar Pro 8 license. If the discount doesn't apply automatically, please add the license to your cart and add the promo code JUSTINGUITAR. :) What's Next? Time to Be Playin’ It Forward When we started the [Playin’ It Forward]( program, we were all super excited to get it launched. We’ve reviewed over 600 applications and managed to get 42 instruments out! You can see the donated guitars [here](. We’ve doubled our goal of distributing 100 guitars a year to 200 guitars a year. Thanks to Andertons, getting guitars to the UK applicants has been easy and we managed to get the majority of those out pretty quickly. Europe is more challenging but possible and they are currently rolling out. The US and other countries outside of Europe has been much more challenging than we anticipated. We are still working on solutions! We are close to hitting go on one one them, but it’s a big financial commitment. And it will take some time to fruit… up to 9 months. My apologies for those that have applied and not got instruments yet. We’re still looking at some faster ways to get guitars to you. However, the logistics expense is crazy and we hoped it would be easier to find a US partner to assist. We are on it, you’re not forgotten! We'll pause applications outside of Europe until we sort out the logistics, so more people are not held up on the waiting list disappointed. We’re all trying and I’m hopeful and interim solution will present itself! :) Summertime: Clubs Vacation A quick note to say that [Clubs]( are taking a break for July! We'll use this time to restructure a few things in-house! Also, we'll make sure the team enjoy a bit more their summer, eh? :) And, for sure, ensure that you get an even better learning experience when classes restart in August! But nothing to worry about, I'm sure you got plenty to get going with at JustinGuitar. :) [Explore JustinGuitar]( [Facebook icon]( [Instagram icon]( [TikTok icon]( [YouTube icon]( [Logo] Copyright (C) 2024 Justin Guitar Ltd.
