Hi everyone!  As Amazon Prime Day is just around the corner, we would like to inform you of some important and very recent news regarding Tik Tok and Facebook that you should know and definitely be aware of.  Both Facebook and TikTok have updated their interface, so when you tap a Deep Link within the app, an additional pop-up will appear informing the user that he is about to leave the app. They will therefore need an additional tap to continue browsing (this is regardless of JotURL, and holds for everyone 😢). Although the changes are very similar on both social networks, on TikTok the flow is less linear, below you'll find an explanation for both Facebook and TikTok updates:  📌Facebook For Facebook, although in the last 2 weeks the latter has updated the UX when tapping on a link that leads out of the app, we have already made an update on the JotUrl side which guarantees the correct functioning of all Easy Deep Links, exactly as before.  📌TikTok For TikTok we had already implemented a solution that worked fine, as announced in the latest improvements Newsletter (see screenshot at this link: [.]( After the new TikTok update the solution still works fine on Android but is not able to work in iOS since TikTok has simply removed the three dots “...” in the upper right corner of the pop-up screen (this was done at the level of Apps, regardless of JotURL, and holds for everyone). For this reason, since yesterday:  - the "open in browser" page has been automatically deactivated by JotUrl for all iOS devices/users, thus you won't need to configure anything.  - For Android, the "open in browser" page is activated by default and can be deactivated (in fact, depending on specific cases, it could be favorable to deactivate it if you use a DL within ADs).   It is very important to note that this new default setting applies in case of new links created. Having said that, we would like to inform you that, at the moment:  - a) we are in contact with Tik Tok to better understand if the change for iOS users is a temporary error or a conscious and definitive decision.  - b) we are working on a viable alternative for iOS users that we will release shortly in beta, in case Tik Tok will not make updates or will not restore the previous behavior (as is the case for Android). But before releasing the solution we want to make sure that it can permanently fix the problem 100% of the times and in all cases.   Once released we will promptly communicate the news both in our Newsletters and in the update posts on our Private Group on Facebook, so stay tuned.  For any other information, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care: [(  Thank you all for your attention, Your JotURL Team ❤     JotUrl Srl Milan - Florence - Italy This email was sent to {EMAIL} You've received it because you've subscribed to our newsletter.
