Abortion access is still at risk

Wade. But the attacks didn’t stop there. A year later far-right extremists continue to attack a woman’s bodily autonomy and personal privacy. While reproductive freedom is still secure in New Jersey, 20 states have moved to restrict or outright ban abortions since this fateful decision. In 2016, I ran for Congress against an anti-choice extremist with the promise that I would fight to defend the right to choose. As your Congressman, I have fought to ensure that every individual can make their own decisions about their health, and I won’t stop now. I have spent my career fighting for women’s rights – taking action to protect a woman's right to make her own healthcare choices by introducing the Freedom to Decide Act, as well as other legislation that includes protections for IVF, reproductive health data, and attempts to codify Roe v. Wade. I firmly stand for women's reproductive rights and oppose any interference in personal healthcare choices. It's about respecting women's autonomy and ensuring their freedom to make decisions about their own bodies.
