Hi Friend -- I’m writing to share a quick update on my latest work in Congress. As always, plea

Hi Friend -- I’m writing to share a quick update on my latest work in Congress. As always, please don’t hesitate to drop me a note with any questions or feedback. 1. Launching a Bipartisan “Unity Commitment” - Ahead of the 2024 election, I’ve launched a bipartisan “Unity Commitment,” which commits signing members to respect the outcome of the election, regardless of who wins. Respect for our democracy must never be a partisan issue. Read at [NJ Globe](. 2. Strengthening Maternal Health - Please read my new op-ed in The Record where I discuss how Jersey and our nation can support and strengthen the health of new and soon-to-be moms. Read at [NorthJersey.com](. 3. Standing Up for Jersey Commuters - I introduced my new “All Aboard Act” including a “Rail Passenger Bill of Rights” to finally put an end to “Summer of Hell” nightmares. My plan will improve our rail infrastructure, and guarantee refunds for passengers who experience significant train delays and cancelations. Read at [NorthJersey.com](. 4. Fighting to Restore the SALT Deduction - I launched my new SALT portal to ensure Jersey’s voice is heard in Congress. I’ll never stop fighting to retore SALT (State and Local Tax) deduction, lower taxes, and make life more affordable for Jersey families. Watch at [PIX11](. 5. Improving School Bus Safety - I reintroduced a bipartisan school bus safety package we’re fighting for in memory of Miranda Vargas and Jennifer Williamson, the student and teacher we lost in the tragic 2018 Paramus bus crash. My plan includes the SECURES Act to require school buses to have three-point seat belts in all 50 states and Miranda’s Law to keep reckless and unfit individuals from driving our children to school. Watch at [News12](. 6. Protecting LGTBQ+ Seniors - I announced the Elder Pride Protection Act, new legislation to protect older LGBTQ+ Americans against harassment, abuse, and discrimination. Read at [Washington Blade](. 7. Standing Up to Hate and Antisemitism - I joined my Democratic colleagues in the House to urge Speaker Johnson to immediately convene an oversight hearing on the rise of antisemitism found on X. [Read at Jewish Insider.]( 8. Hosting “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Halls. - As always, I am grateful to meet with Fifth District residents and talk about the issues that matter to our families and communities. Please don’t forget to follow us on [X]( and on [Facebook]( and please reach out to me at [josh@josh4jersey.com](mailto:Josh@josh4jersey.com) if you need anything. I’d also be grateful if you’d consider [contributing here]( support our efforts to deliver commonsense leadership. Thank you.
