Judge Scott McAfee said the counts failed to provide enough detail of the alleged crimes and weren't specific enough to allow President Trump and his 18 co-defendants to prepare adequately. The [dropped counts]( were related to President Trump allegedly coercing a public officer into violating his oath. Seven counts against Trump remain, and the fate of Fulton County DA Fani Willis is still undecided. "The Court made the correct legal decision to grant the special demurrers and quash important counts of the indictment brought by DA Fani Willis," [said Trump attorney]( Steve Sadow. [Article Icon 1] House Votes to Force TikTok Sale or Ban The House voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday to force China-based ByteDance [to sell the TikTok social media platform]( or face a ban in the U.S. The vote was 352-65. The bill moves now to the Senate, where [its future is uncertain](. A bipartisan group of senators back it, claiming it’s spyware for China’s government, but others, including Sen. Rand Paul, think it’s an unconstitutional infringement on the First Amendment. President Biden has said he would sign the bill, which calls for a sale within 165 days. TikTok has more than 150 million American users, but it's already banned from use on government-issued devices.
