As of last night, Republicans held 216 House seats to Democrats' 208, with 11 undecided. The GOP leads in 8 of those, while Democrats lead in 3. Most of those still uncertain are [in California](, including districts around the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Democrats are hoping for a razor-thin majority, but Republican officials are confident that the GOP will retain its majority. A final count will almost certainly have to wait until [next week, at the earliest,]( when Congress is back in session and prepares to elect its new leaders. [Article Icon 1]Biden and Trump to Meet President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump [will meet Wednesday]( in the Oval Office, the White House announced on Saturday. In [a speech on Thursday](, Biden said he assured Trump “that I would direct my entire administration to work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.” The traditional post-election meeting of the incoming and outgoing presidents will take place at 11:00 ET. Trump will become the second president to serve two non-consecutive terms when he becomes the nation's 47th president. The other was Grover Cleveland, the 22nd and 24th.
