The revised indictment [no longer includes allegations]( that Trump sought to pressure the Department of Justice but still alleges that Trump engaged in a conspiracy to block the election’s certification. Smith’s office secured the superseding indictment [from a federal grand jury in Washington]( and agreed to waive Trump’s appearance at an arraignment on the new charges.
