[Jesus Daily]( YOUR DAILY TRIVIA In Daniel's dream, how many beasts emerged from the sea? PLEASE HELP SAVE MAKMAK TODAY! [EB]( MakMak was born with congenital heart disease, cerebral palsy, and a seizure disorder. He had open heart surgery when he was just 20 days old. He is now needing a PEG tube (to allow his nutrition, fluids, and medications to be put directly into his stomach), since he is having eating difficulties. Please consider giving a small $5 or more donation to help fund his PEG tube placement. THANK YOU FOR GIVING! [PLEASE HELP]( YOUR DAILY 3 LIFE PRESCRIPTIONS Hello, 1. God has given you gifts. 2. God has prepared good things for you to do. 3. I pray that God is blessing you today and that you are sharing his love. Follow me on Facebook at [facebook.com/draarontabor]( God bless you and your family, — Aaron Tabor, MD, Founder of Jesus Daily® YOUR DAILY DEVOTION FROM DR TABOR The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 Healing Our Hurts When we were children, it only took a moment in our parent’s arms to get over a scraped knee or spilled cup of juice. The sense of closeness provided a tangible comfort to our distress. We felt safe and secure, aware that our painful problem bothered us but that our mother’s or father’s loving presence was bigger than any problem we encountered. As we grow up, we learn to handle our painful losses and disappointments by ourselves—to tough it out and push through. But often these injuries never heal. They linger only to ache even more acutely. We still need our Father’s embrace when we stumble and fall. Whether it’s a day where nothing goes right or a major life loss, we must remember that Someone is bigger than even the largest obstacle we may face. Even when we feel broken and crushed, God comforts us with his care. Pray: “Remind me, Father, that you are always there for me, willing to comfort me and put my heart back together whenever it breaks.” Do you accept Jesus as Savior?
