​ ​ # Hi {NAME}, I’ve been involved in environmental policy for most of my career. From my earliest days in environmental planning to my current work on the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board, I am committed to protecting our natural resources and combating the climate crisis with everything in our power. Lori Chavez-DeRemer pretends to be a moderate, but she’s no different from other MAGA Republicans when it comes to our environment. She has voted to repeal President Biden’s historic climate law, opposed steps to curb toxic emissions from cars and trucks, and sided with the far right repeatedly when it comes to combating the climate crisis. These days, we expect Republicans to always place corporate interests ahead of our environment, but sadly, some Democrats are in the same boat. For example, my primary opponent was ranked LAST among Democrats on the Oregon League of Conservation Voters’ scorecard.
