The accused men are Corey Orr, otherwise called 'Usher' of Clifton District, St Catherine, and 31-year-old Shemar Edwards, otherwise called 'Shortman'. They are charged with rape and grievous sexual assault. Allegations are that the complainant was sexually assaulted at the hospital around 8:00 pm on August 18. Bunting to make State of the Nation presentation Senate will meet at 10:00 am today at Gordon House, Duke Street in downtown Kingston. The agenda includes amendments to the Agricultural Produce (Amendment) Act, 2023 and the Public Debt Management (Amendment) Act, 2023.
