Morning Bites: 5 things to know for Wednesday, November 15, 2023 Two men to be sentenced in murder of Paulwell’s daughter, child’s mom The [two men who pleaded guilty]( in the abduction and murder of the 10-month-old daughter of veteran lawmaker Phillip Paulwell and her 27-year-old mother are to be sentenced today in the Home Circuit Court. One defendant pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping, while the other pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to kidnap, two counts of accessory before the fact to murder and one count of misprision of felony. Their names have been withheld for safety reasons. Maitland, a police constable, is accused of killing his girlfriend 24-year-old girlfriend, Donna-Lee Donaldson, a social media influencer. Her body has not been found. Maitland has been behind bars since his arrest on July 27, 2022 in relation to the disappearance of Donaldson. He was charged with her murder on August 2 of that year.
