Christian enrolled in my business-building program, Earnable, in March 2020. To view this email as a web page, [click here]() {NAME}, Meet Christian Öberg. [Christian Öberg] Christian enrolled in my [business-building program, Earnable](), in March 2020. Like most Earnable students, he didn’t show up with a business idea already in mind. He just knew he wanted to build something that was completely his. Through my step-by-step process for coming up with dozens of potential business ideas, Christian landed on one that he really liked. He ran his idea through the Pay Certainty Test and Demand Matrix (two frameworks inside Earnable that help ensure you don’t waste a single second building something no one wants). He confirmed people would pay for his idea. That’s when things got scary. The flip side of fear Once you come up with your business idea during the first few days of Earnable, you can’t just sit back and tinker with your website. The system is designed to get you out there — so you can win your first sale (or hear your first “No”) as quickly as possible. For Christian, the selling process was nerve-wracking at first… And then, without even trying that hard, he won his first client: “Pushing for the first sale brings me back to the old online dating days. You know, you send a message to a girl and get ignored, but eventually, you get better at it. It's the same with pitching potential clients. You get better at it. What Ramit's material does for you is to REALLY put you in your customer's shoes and to be comfortable getting a NO, which is scary as hell but liberating at the same time. I pitched five people and got one sale...for $150.” [Side note: If you think this isn’t enough, read the P.S. below.] "The sale felt like I was trying the ‘least hard,’” Christian continues. “But I did the background work much better (listening more to her dreams, fears, etc. and position my offer accordingly).” That liberation he felt? That’s the flip side of fear. It’s a thrilling reward for being brave enough to put your brand-new idea out into the world. And just so you know, that feeling is addicting. Another Earnable student, Sarah, felt the same way when she made her first easy sale to a great-fit client. [Earnable Student - Sarah]() You already have plenty of ideas I’ve been emailing you all week about ideas, {NAME}. Because if you want to start a business, not having your idea yet is not a problem. I promise you have plenty of ideas. I’ll show you how to find them, rank them, and pick the one that not only comes with solid potential to make you money — but lights you up with excitement like Sarah and Christian. Before you click away to whatever email is next in your inbox, here’s one last story about starting with no idea, this time for the skeptics. Omar wasn’t sure if he should even enroll in Earnable. But he was interested in starting his own business, so he took the leap. Here’s what happened: [Earnable Student - Omar Regalado]() I really admire Omar’s willingness to trust the Earnable system. His “beginner’s mindset” showed him an opportunity, and he followed the steps inside the program to define his offer, find his customers, and get paid. The best part? Christian, Sarah, and Omar are just like you, {NAME}. They wanted more control over their income, their time, and their future. So they decided to do something about it, one step at a time. [Here’s your next step](). [Signature] P.S. Just because you start out charging a certain amount doesn’t mean you’re stuck there. In fact, I’ll push you to raise your prices. Like I did with Martin: [Earnable Student - Marten Bentsen]() Also, have you signed up for my live class yet? This Wednesday at 8pm Eastern / 5pm Pacific, I’m going to share my 5 essential rules for creating a business that lets you live the life you want — without taking it over.
