Progress on share buyback programme ING announced today that, as part of our €2.5 billion share buyback programme announced on 2 May 2024, the company repurchased 3,052,646 shares during the week of 16 September 2024 up to and including 20 September 2024. The shares were repurchased at an average price of €16.52 for a total amount of €50,423,511.08. In line with the purpose of the programme to reduce the share capital of ING, the total number of shares repurchased under this programme to date is 137,365,968 ordinary shares at an average price of €15.94 for a total consideration of €2,189,242,969.11.
