See full course schedule and register for classes [banner] Hi {NAME}, Happy Pride! June is LGBTQIA+ Pride Month to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States, which fought for the rights of members of the LGBTQIA+ community. During this month memorials are also held for members of the community who have been lost to HIV/AIDS or hate crimes. The purpose of this commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally. Be sure to recognize your LGBTQIA+ talent this month, but also ensure that your organization works to recognize and address the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community in its policies and practices year-round. I’d also like to share a note on upcoming summer L&D Programming, with complete details of each event being found later in this newsletter. - June 22nd - Commercial Contracting Issues in Digital Advertising - June 28th - Legal Issues Regarding Influencer Marketing - June 29th - Let Active Listening Open the Door to Collaboration - July 13th - An Advertiser’s Guide to Reaching Gaming-Obsessed Gen-Z and Millennials Join us on June 30th from 3:00-4:00pm EST for our next Talent Development Council session, where our guest speaker will be our very own TDC Co-Chair Jessica Watson, Director, Talent Engagement & Inclusion at Publicis Groupe.
