ð McDonaldâs Unveils Custom 1970 Plymouth Barracuda: The Burgercuda TLDR: In perhaps the most random-yet-intriguing collaboration of the year so far, McDonald's has applied its aesthetic and vibe onto a classic American muscle car: the Plymouth Barracuda.â Why It Matters: The classic Plymouth has actually been revamped by McDonald's' villianous mascot, the Hamburglar, to create the "Burgercuda." The custom 1970s classic is decked out in the characterâs signature black-and-white stripes, red accents and features a variety of burger-themed modifications. Other notable details of the vehicle include âMcDonaldâsâ branding at the grille of the car, an âRBL RBLâ license plate in red letters, a burger heating center console, a Micky Dâs yellow shift knob and a McDonaldâs Arch logo embossed on the steering wheel. ð§ Tesla Recalls Over Two Million EVs Due to the Warning Light Text Being Too Small TLDR: Tesla has yet again launched another massive recall of its electric vehicles, this time due to non-compliance with federal guidelines from the NHTSA for font size.â â â Why It Matters: According to the NHTSA, the right font size is imperative for warning lights and as such, Tesla appears to have violated to guideline, forcing them to recall almost 2.2 million EVS, which is almost all the cars the company has sold in the U.S. The problem was noted during a routine NHTSA check last month when it found that the text on the park, brake and antilock brake warning lights were far smaller than what was listed by the federal rules. Due to its hard to read nature, it could potentially cause increased crashes. For reference, the Porsche 911 Turbo S w/ Sport Chrono is 2.6 secs, making the new electric "Turbo" the fastest production car Porsche has ever offered.
