ï¸ð¤ Keith Haring x Malbon Golf Fuses Art and Sport TLDR: Jesper Parnevik, a veteran golfer, signed with Malbon at the beginning of the year and, honestly, was the only logical choice to style the brand’s new collaboration with the Keith Haring estate.â Why It Matters: While not a household name beyond golf circles, those who have followed the game and its unique personalities over the years recognize Parnevik for his strong sense of style and eccentric personality. Encompassing t-shirts, polos, knitwear and accessories, the limited edition capsule combines many of the late New York artist’s recognizable motifs with Malbon’s “M” logo and slouchy, versatile golf silhouettes. Although admirers of Haring and fans of Malbon will find plenty of pieces to their liking, there are a few that stand out in particular. The first of those is the Malbon x Keith Haring Sweater Vest which is knit from 100% cotton and features large intarsia artwork across the chest.â Read the full article [here](. ---------------------------------------------------------------
â³ Goodluck: The Golf Shoe That Combines Past and Present TLDR: Golf has no shortage of burgeoning micro clothing brands but footwear is a tougher nut to crack. Goodluck Golf, a new footwear brand founded by three SCAD graduates, is hoping to change that.â Why It Matters: Embodying nostalgia for a bygone era in golf through a modern POV, Goodluck’s products reflect the three co-founders’ range of interests which include design, fashion, sport and pop culture. The golf shoe brand is currently carrying out pre-sale for its two signature styles: the GL1 and the GL2. As you can see in the carousel above, the GL1 is Goodluck’s take on a classic golf silhouette with the elegance of a dress shoe but the wide toe box of a sneaker. The design draws influence from outside of golf as well with a fold over tongue similar to soccer cleats of the 70s.â Read the full article [here](. ---------------------------------------------------------------
ð Teeing Off in Middle Earth: Welcome to The Hills Golf Club TLDR: Discover one of New Zealand’s most renowned private clubs and how an upcoming renovation will improve it even further.â Why It Matters: It takes audacity to alter something that by most accounts is already close to perfection. The Hills Golf Club was opened in 2007 by one of New Zealand’s most successful entrepreneurs Sir Michael Hill. The clubhouse is worthy of appreciation in its own right, a geometric structure of glass, aluminum and concrete which simultaneously blends into its surroundings while offering something completely new. However, time moves quickly and 16 years on from its opening there’s a feeling that some aspects of the course have aged better than others. That’s why Michael Hill and his daughter Emma Hill partnered with Jim Rohrstaff and Ric Kayne, the pair of American investors and real estate developers behind Te Arai Links and Tara Iti, to bring The Hills into the next era.â â Read the full article [here](. ---------------------------------------------------------------
ð Sun Day Red Opens Its First-Ever Pop-Up TLDR: Tiger Woods's new Sun Day Red is available to shop in-person for the first time in Pebble Beach, the site of Woods's famous 15-stroke US Open victory. The pop-up is located in the same space that hosted the Kith x TaylorMade retail experience in June.â Why It Matters: “Sun Day Red will embody a love of playing and competing, and we are for people that share those values, whether it’s on the course, or in life," Woods was quoted saying in the past. The store is open daily between 9 AM and 6:30 PM selling core items from the SDR range with the Pebble Beach 1919 logo. Check out the link for the photos to take a look inside. At this time it's unclear whether Woods will make a return to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February, but it seems unlikely given his recent surgery.â Read the full article [here](. ---------------------------------------------------------------
ð¤ Vessel Reveals Its New Player Series of Golf Bags TLDR: And as the year draws to a close Vessel has unveiled the latest version of its marquee Player Series which, true to form, has just a few intentional upgrades.â Why It Matters: Positioned as Vessel’s premier stand bag, the new Player V Pro continues to offer a ton of storage thanks to 16 pockets. And a nifty rotator stand system which provides stability with the carbon fiber legs extended or folded up remains one of our favorite features on any bag in the market. This year, however, Vessel tweaked the 7 and 14-way tops with offset dividers to make golf clubs both easier to retrieve and view. More magnetic pockets were also added this time around, with the rangefinder pocket being given an internal divider for more efficient use of space.â Read the full article [here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Hypebeast]
