Our Animal Rescue Team remains hard at work to help cats who were suffering in a large-scale, alleged cruelty case. [The Humane Society of the United States]() [A sad cat in a dirty cage]( {NAME}, The 170+ cats we rescued from horrifying conditions in Mississippi earlier this week are now safe at our temporary shelter receiving much-needed care. They are being treated for a variety of conditions including respiratory infections and parasites. Many of the cats were covered in fleas and were dehydrated. Five have been rushed to emergency veterinarians for surgery or intensive treatment. [Will you show these cats you care with an urgent donation that supports not only this rescue but our lifesaving work for all animals as well?]( [Several sad cats in a dirty room]( We believe in second chances and that it isn’t too late for these cats to find the homes and families they deserve. We are working hard to ensure all these sweet cats receive the love and care that they so desperately need.
