I dreamed a dream in time gone by                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 October 24, 2023 | [Read Online]( You're dreamy AF I dreamed a dream in time gone by [Cole Schafer]( October 24, 2023 [fb]( [tw]( [in]( [email](mailto:?subject=Post%20from%20The%20Process.&body=You%27re%20dreamy%20AF%3A%20I%20dreamed%20a%20dream%20in%20time%20gone%20by%0A%0Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.getthesticky.com%2Fp%2Fdreamland) The Show… Tomorrow you will experience [Dreamland](. It’s a magical place where listeners get to stroll through the minds of creative geniuses as they divulge the processes they’ve used to transform their dreams into the kind of creative work that’s shaping culture as we know it. For the season premiere, we will sit down with Sean Brock, a James Beard Award Winning chef, entrepreneur and writer exploring Southern Cuisine and Lowcountry cooking at his critically-acclaimed restaurants Joyland, The Continental, Audrey and June. And, this is just the beginning… in the weeks that follow, we will hear from Grammy-winning songwriters, critically-acclaimed film score composers, James Beard Award Winning chefs, NYT Best Selling authors, serial entrepreneurs, graffiti artists and drag queens. The Sponsor… I want to give a special thank you to [Schedule35](, the official sponsor of Dreamland. Schedule35 is a trusted psilocybin brand that I use when I find myself in a creative rut. Every dose is precisely measured out, allowing you to tap into your creativity without, well, tripping the fuck out. [Schedule35]( has been kind enough to gift Dreamland listeners and The Process readers 15% off their first order with voucher code “dreamland”. My dear friends over at [Hoste Cocktails]( will also be gifting guests a special surprise at the end of each episode. The Story… Eight years ago, I found myself working a desk job I loathed. Showing up to work each day felt like I was sitting bare assed on an ant mound. I desperately wanted to be a writer. I just didn’t know how. All I knew for sure was that I wasn’t going to become a writer there. So, I quit and found part-time work ripping the carpet and flooring out of old homes and apartment buildings. Before too long, I could skin a 2,000 square foot home in about 2-hours. I’d tackle one room at a time. Cut and portion out the carpet into clean rectangles, and then roll them all up into enchiladas that I’d then hoist over my shoulder and wrestle out to the van. As I labored away, I listened to thousands of hours of podcast interviews with writers, creatives and entrepreneurs, hoping they’d divulge the answers I was so desperately looking for. Individuals like Laura Belgray, Derek Sivers, Seth Godin, Naval Ravikant, Mark Manson, Sam Parr and Sophia Amoruso soon became my mentors, my roadmaps and my sources of inspiration as I chased my dreams. With my latest project, [Dreamland](, it is my hope to give to others what these individuals once gave me. I want to remind the creatives in this world, young and old, that their dreams don’t have to remain dreams. By [Cole Schafer]( P.S. Did this newsletter leave you feeling inspired?
