SIX
New Season Premieres Monday, May 28 at 10/9c
HISTORY's military combat drama series SIX returns on Memorial Day. Inspired by real missions, the series captures the inside world of Americaâs elite Special Operations unit—what these SEALs do, their personal lives, combat and the life-and-death decisions they make to protect and serve their country. The new ten-episode second season of the series follows SEAL Team Six in a mission to destroy the terrorist networks responsible for the shooting of their former team leader Richard "Rip" Taggart. The SEALs will join forces with a cunning and tenacious CIA officer to scour Eastern Europe, infiltrating hostile territory and terrorist hotspots like Chechnya as they track the mastermind behind the jihadist network. SIX provides insights into global politics, military operations and the transition between combat and home life experienced by many service men and women.

Preston Sharp: Flags and Flowers Challenge
HISTORY has joined with Preston Sharp, a 12-year-old student from Redding, California to support a call to action entitled "Flags and Flowers." The goal of this initiative is to honor those who have served through the simple yet powerful act of placing flowers and flags on the graves of veterans. Sharp launched his effort in 2015 when he visited the grave of his grandfather and noticed the lack of flags and flowers on the graves of local veterans. He set the goal of honoring veterans in all 50 states and mobilizing every person in the United States to take the time to honor a veteran by completing the #FandFChallenge, taking a veteran to lunch or acknowledging their service.
