Secretary Becerra kicked off National Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated America’s top Paralympians, and spoke about HBCUs. [Banner]( Good afternoon. This week, Secretary Becerra kicked off National Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting the importance of health care inclusivity. He also noted that September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month. He represented the United States at the 2024 Paris Paralympics and then spoke about the important role of HBCUs in the future of health care at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 53rd Annual Legislative Conference in Washington D.C.
