Dear Fellow Patriot, As you know, Heritage devotes every hour of every day to restoring the American dream. That’s exactly why we launched Project 2025 and published the Mandate for Leadership: to reclaim the American dream. Not surprisingly, the Left doesn’t support that mission. Last week at the Democratic National Convention, you may have heard the attacks on Heritage and Project 2025. These are just the latest in a months-long smear campaign against our institution and our values. As a pivotal Heritage supporter, I’d like to update you on Heritage’s response. Despite Vice President Harris, the mainstream media, and others spreading vicious lies about Project 2025 to frighten the American people – we have good news. The American people are much smarter than the Left gives them credit for, and it turns out Americans actually support conservative ideas that promote the American dream. In fact, a recent poll we commissioned showed that when Americans hear what Project 2025 actually proposes (gutting the administrative state, securing the border, unleashing American energy, etc.), 52% support the plan while just 36% oppose. Heritage’s communications team has been working around the clock to fact-check news articles that mischaracterize Project 2025, encouraging reporters to fact-check false attacks from Vice President Harris, and promoting the good news of Project 2025 on social media. Thanks to their work, even mainstream outlets including CNN, USA Today, The Washington Post, and others published fact-checks to show the Left lies. In just the past 7 weeks, 50 outlets have published pieces fact-checking the outrageous and false claims about our project. We also launched a [website]() to counter the Left’s worst lies about Project 2025. This in partnership with [dangerouslyliberal.com]() is part of our ongoing effort to highlight the profound policy contrast before the American people. Project 2025 has built upon the decades-long legacy of providing public policy solutions by creating a database of strong conservatives who want to serve in government and enrolling them in our Presidential Administration Academy. We’ve shown conservatives how to be organized and united. And that terrifies the same Deep State that Project 2025 intends to dismantle. We are continuing the fight to defend conservative principles and have partnered with one of the largest conservative radio networks in the country, Salem Media Group, to continue to get the word out about the great work happening at Heritage. Heritage has been America’s outpost in Washington for more than 50 years for a reason – because we will never give up the fight to protect our nation’s founding principles and protect your right to self-governance. Every day Heritage is fighting for America’s future. We’re fighting to preserve the good life and the American dream for each and every American family. Rest assured we will not give up. We will not back down. Our country depends on it. Sincerely, Kevin D. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
