Sometimes the assumption is that the highest search volume keywords get the most sales. However, that is not always the case because not all keywords have a high buyer intent and may not convert as well as long tail lower search volume keywords. In Helium 10, you can see how many sales each keyword is getting on Amazon and you can use that data to calculate the conversion rate. You might be surprised to find a higher conversion rate with the lower search volume keywords than the higher search volume keywords.
