So what is “end-of-quarter”? By law, campaigns like ours are required to submit a fundraising report to the Federal Election Commission at the end of every quarter. There are four deadlines every year (and more if there is an election), and this provides an opportunity for our opponents to see our report and gauge our support. Why is this deadline so important? Fundraising numbers are a key area to determine a campaign’s strength. If we send in a strong report, Republican Super PACs will know they have an uphill battle. If we show any signs of weakness, they will pounce on the opportunity to send more attack ads into our district. Why support Josh?
