 AN EYE FOR COUTURE, produced by Hali Publications and published by Prestel, presents and explores Francesca Galloway's personal collection of 20th-century French haute couture and fashion, assembled over a period of thirty-five years. This lavishly illustrated and carefully researched book presents over 100 pieces, reflecting Galloway’s interest in design innovators and revolutionaries, and her appreciation of the highest artistry. The collection focuses on those designers who shaped 20th-century fashion and whose work embodied the zeitgeist of their time.
