Times Syndicate, 1980) An exceptionally key and special strip, this daily, by superstar artists Dave Stevens and Rick Hoberg, contains one of the earliest printed appearances of fan-favorite The Empire Strikes Back character, bounty hunter Boba Fett, whose first print appearance came in Marvel Super Special #16 The Empire Strikes Back. His first actual comic book appearance did not occur until the December, 1980 issue of Marvel's Star Wars #42, and his first newspaper strip appearance was in the June 16th episode, just five weeks prior to this strip. Heritage Auctions, the world’s largest auctioneer of comic and comic art, is collaborating with The National Cartoonists Society and major strip syndicators to support The National Cartoonists Society Foundation’s Thanks + Giving,” a unique auction of original artwork.
