You see, when you overly restrict the calories you eat⦠Whether thatâs by cutting out carbs, doing a juice cleanse, or any other fad⦠Your body can go into âstarvation mode.â Thatâs where your body actually slows down your metabolism to preserve energy.¹ When that happens, youâll feel fatigued, weak, and most of all HUNGRY. But even worse, youâll actually burn fat SLOWER⦠And youâll gain it back FASTER as soon as you go back to a normal caloric intake. Which is why popular crash diets often leave you heavier than when you started. The truth is, you can lose weight WITHOUT starving yourself. In fact, when you use my new solution, you may find yourself slimming down surprisingly easily⦠While still enjoying plenty of sensible but satisfying meals.

âIf you want to lose weight,
you need to spend hours working out.â
Okay, this is a myth I once fell for! Back when I was 70 pounds overweight, I was running more than 30 miles a week and going to the gym one hour a day! Still, my weight didnât budge. And thereâs a good reason for that. When you exercise too much, your brain says⦠âWOAH, weâre using a lot more calories than usual⦠Letâs ramp up our appetite to make up for these lost nutrients.â So even if you burn an extra 500 calories through exercise⦠Your body will just crave an extra 500 calories â or more! If youâve ever met someone who exercises plenty, but still canât lose weight⦠Itâs probably because their increased appetite is causing them to completely counteract the effects of their exercise. But thatâs not even the worst part. Exercising too much can actually SLOW your metabolism too.² Put simply, your body says⦠âHey weâre burning a LOT of calories with all this exercise⦠Letâs slow down our resting metabolism so we arenât wasting too much energy.â Now, donât get me wrong â A reasonable amount of exercise is great for your heart and mental health. I recommend doing a small amount of exercise every day, even if itâs just going for a short walk. But you actually DONâT need to live in a gym to lose weight. In fact, if you use my new solution⦠You can actually burn fat even while youâre resting on the couch.
 â Myth #3
âWeight loss injections are a side effect-free way
to support your weight loss goals.â
Youâve probably heard about the weight loss injections that are all the rage in Hollywood right now. And they can help people lose weight quickly. But thereâs a big catch. You see, these shots work by âtrickingâ your stomach into processing food more slowly. That keeps you feeling fuller for longer, which helps you eat less. The problem? A lot of the weight loss people see from these injections actually comes from lost MUSCLE not FAT. Which is a recipe for feeling weaker every day. And thatâs not to mention the cost of these injections. Some of them will run you about $1,100 a month! Now, I canât say whether or not you should try these injections. Thatâs for your doctor to discuss with you. But I wonât use them for my patients. And I can say, for the vast majority of people, they are NOT my recommended way to lose weight and keep it off. Because when you get your metabolism working how itâs supposed to â You can help your body slim down while IMPROVING your digestion and energy levels.
 â Myth #4
âIf you want to lose weight, choose low-fat
and sugar-free options at the store.â
Hereâs the problem with a lot of popular low-fat and sugar-free options you see on store shelves: A lot of companies replace fats and sugars with additives that are even WORSE for your waistline. Take âlow fatâ yogurt, for example. A lot of people grab this thinking theyâre doing their waistline a favor. But the truth is, some of the most popular âlow fatâ options contain more sugar than youâre recommended to have in an ENTIRE day.³â´âµ Unfortunately, this is common for âlow fatâ foods⦠And itâs why a lot of people canât seem to lose weight even though theyâre eating foods they THINK should be making them skinny. Same goes for âsugar-freeâ foods. Big companies actually TRICK you by replacing sugar with artificial sweeteners that can do serious damage to your gut. When your gut gets thrown out of whack, it can lead to MORE food cravings and a SLOWER metabolism⦠Which is a recipe for excess weight gain.

âIf you want to lose weight,
you HAVE to be disciplined, 24/7.â
This is one of the WORST weight loss myths out there. A lot of people think failing to lose weight means they lack discipline or willpower. I can assure you: That is COMPLETELY wrong. In fact, I had the MOST trouble losing weight when I was extremely disciplined about my diet and exercise. The truth is, losing weight should feel sustainable.
