How Biden gets removed from the 2024 ticket June 13, 2024 [Turn Your Images On] Former Congressman Hints at Biden Removal “Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed often, and for the same reason.” – Attributed to Mark Twain --------------------------------------------------------------- [Special Reminder: In case you missed [our recent announcement]( The Essential Investor has merged with legacy contributors to Agora Financial. Even a financial crisis may find its genesis elsewhere, whether from a flawed academic theory, or from a boneheaded political or monetary danger. One of our original predictions for 2024 was that President Biden may not be the nominee for the Democratic Party come November. That thesis could still hold up. Today, we’re sharing the first part of an interview Grey Swan Investment Fraternity managing editor Andrew Packer hosted with Devin Nunes. The full video is available for paid-up Grey Swan members. Nunes is a former member of Congress and now manages Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social. In this first part, Nunes discusses how Biden’s removal from the top of the ballot could occur after the Democrats have their convention this summer. Tomorrow, in the second part, Nunes will discuss the challenges of starting up Truth Social and taking the company public. Interview With Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group (Part I) Andrew Packer: Hi, I'm Andrew Packer with the Gray Swan Investment Fraternity. I am joined by CEO of Truth Social, Devin Nunez today. Absolute pleasure to be speaking with you. Congressman, you've had quite the career now, corporate CEO, you just went public, but you also made a really interesting prediction while you were talking about the company [DJT] shareholders. You said for the 2024 election, president Biden might not actually end up being the nominee, and that might not even happen until after the convention this summer. Could you go into that prediction a little bit? Devin Nunes: Well, I've spent two decades in Washington, and I know a lot of these people, and it was pretty clear to me that Team Obama, I call it Team Obama because Obama has a team around him. So you have to understand that that team is what got Biden elected. Remember, what did they do back then? They had to get rid of Bernie Sanders. They were afraid Bernie Sanders was going to be the nominee. So they didn't want Biden. They actually wanted, Team Obama was behind Kamala Harris, but then she got last place in the Iowa caucuses, right? People forget about all this. Well, she didn't make it to the Iowa caucuses is what happened. She bowed out, so they resurrected Biden from the dead essentially, and Obama got behind him, and what they really wanted was for Biden to get out. They wanted him to, he won. Obviously, his health is going downhill, and we know that because the day that he announced that he was running for reelection the night before, Susan Rice, who is Obama's longtime, right-hand person, walked out of the White House and quit. Now, it's very strange. None of this is done by accident. Then you've seen a lot of the Obama people, when it was kind of the last minute for Biden to get out of the race before the primaries started, Obama's people all said, oh, he can't win. He's too old. He's got these problems. So all that happened, and so now they're in a situation. Biden clearly wants to run. He doesn't want to give it up. And I think it's a problem with he has a small group around him that's circled the wagons. The kids all have problems. I mean, there's legal issues, real legal issues, unlike the made up ones with Trump. So what they have to do now is this is really basically the Obama people working behind the scenes trying to get the small Biden group to have Biden, get to the convention, accept the nomination, and then bow out. And you may ask, why do they have to do that? Andrew Packer: Yes, that would be really unprecedented. Devin Nunes: But the reason they have to do it that way is because as I understand the Democratic party rules, the worst thing could happen right now is that he bow out right now because then it would be a free for all from now to the convention. I mean, it would be total chaos, right? Andrew Packer: You can't go 1968 Chicago riots probably... Devin Nunes: But even worse, it would be worse than that because you'd have no, basically your front runner is gone, and then you'd have to somehow decide who it would be, Andrew Packer: Right? You don't think it would be Kamala Harris? Devin Nunes: I mean, look, she would try, but I don't think they want her either. You've had Gavin Newsom out there, Andrew Packer: He and Ron DeSantis had that sort of shadow presidential debate. Devin Nunes: I call it shadow campaigning. So look, I just think, I'm not saying it's a hundred percent, but I'm just telling you it's a possibility. That's what I mean. I know enough people in Washington who we do still, some people know people, and there's no doubt that, of course, the fake news is never going to write about it. But Obama wants Biden out in his whole group. They don't think he can win. And look, it's obvious what's happening. Meanwhile, in the polls… a Republican has never done this well in the polls at this stage of an election, especially where we've been the last such a divided country the last few years. Andrew Packer: Yes. And it seems like we've seen a boost in the polls just with more and more hits being made on Trump. It seems like he more legal problems by the day. These things that just seem so contrary to what we think of as the everyday rule of law. Devin Nunes: Yeah, I mean, look, you've seen the total collapse of the justice system. We really are. And I think people are beginning to realize just how ridiculous this is. Right? At first you're like, oh my God, an indictment. Now another indictment. Oh, now another indictment. Wait a second. You got four indictments of a former president. I mean, how did he do all these bad things? So it seems impossible that you could even have time to do it. You were president of the United States, right? You're running these big businesses that he had for all these years. He was well-known, Donald Trump had one of the top television shows, and now all of a sudden he's indicted more times. There's never been in my, I don't think there's ever been somebody indicted in four different jurisdictions at the same time. Andrew Packer: Oh, it's interesting too, because you have in the whole, oh, this is a misdemeanor, but this could turn it into an actual felony. So this is how we're going to legally argue that. Or you see situations where we have to extend the statute of limitations that's expired, which all of these things just seem unconstitutional. And to an extent, that reminds me of in 2020, we had Twitter before Elon Musk bought it, they suppressed that New York Post story about the Hunter Biden laptop, which was true. And I feel like that's a big reason why we're here today discussing the rise of Truth Social… ~~Stay tuned for Part II tomorrow.
