Three of Hollywood's most in demand women directors will talk about their work, their past and future projects, and their success in working in TV and streaming. It is a well-known fact that TV offers women more chances to try their hand at directing than film. These three panelists have made the most out of their opportunities and established themselves as consistent artists behind the camera. This year's panelists are: SALLI RICHARDSON-WHITFIELD Salli Richardson-Whitfield, known as an actor for such films as "ANTWONE FISHER" and "I AM LEGEND", has utilized her thirty years on set and transitioned or catapulted into the role of director and Executive Producer. Salli got her start directing on shows such as "Eureka","Queen Sugar", and "Luke Cage", she now serves as Executive Producer on the Julian Fellowes' HBO series “The Gilded Age” as well as Executive Producer and director on the Adam McKay HBO series’ “Winning Time”. She has feature films in development at Universal and Village Roadshow. STACEY MUHAMMAD Stacy Muhammad has been steadfastly building momentum as a director, having directed shorts, documentaries, and webseries, the critically acclaimed director got the attention of Ava DuVernay who offered Stacey the opportunity to direct "Queen Sugar" multiple times. Stacey has now been working on such shows as “Harlem”, Love Life”, “Bel Air'', “Manifest”, and the new Paramount Plus series, “Cross” based on the Alex Cross franchise. Satcey’s feature screenplay, “The Reunion'' is in development with Malcolm D. Lee. ZETA FUENTES Zetna Fuentes has established herself as one of the most in-demand directors helming many of television’s notable, award-winning shows, including “The Old Man,” “Ray Donovan,” "The Girl From Plainville” and "The Great." Most recently, Zetna directed and executive produced episodes of the highly anticipated upcoming Hulu series, “Black Cake.” She also recently directed the pilot of "Bosch: Legacy” and served as an Executive Producer on the series. Zetna will be making her feature directorial debut with an upcoming film from Amazon and Eugenio Derbez’ 3Pas Studios. And our panel will be moderated by renowned journalist K.J. Matthews: K.J MATTHEWS KJ Matthews is an award-winning journalist who's covered the entertainment industry for the last two decades. She's worked for CNN and Extra TV as well as ABC, CBS and FOX-TV affiliates.
