Whether it’s your first-time shopping with us, or you’ve been with us since we launched ten years ago (!), we’re happy you came! I wrote a letter on Into The Gloss introducing Glossier in October 2014, and it’s something all of us on the team still turn back to and reference. Here’s my favorite part: “Glossier is about living in—and embracing—the now, not the past, and not the future. It’s about fun and freedom and being OK with yourself today. It’s about being nice to people and knowing that a smile begets a smile. Snobby isn’t cool, happy is cool.” Ten years later, that sentiment still rings true for us. We hope it rings true for you, too. We hope that through our products, experiences, and our brand, we’ve brought some joy, delight, connection and ease into your life. Maybe you caught a stranger’s eye after seeing their matching Pink Pouch, shared a spritz of Glossier You with someone you love, or snapped a selfie with a friend in our ‘You Look Good’ mirror. Ultimately, I created this brand because I was inspired by people and their stories. Since then, this community has inspired me beyond measure—Glossier has exceeded all of my wildest dreams. Thank you for being here, for being you, and for making Glossier what it is. We’re so grateful you’ve joined us on this journey—and invite you to please share your teeniest tiniest or big bigger BIGGEST (as my two year old daughter would say) hopes and dreams for our future.
