Lives are on the line. And it scared me because anything less than undeniable success would have been seen as a sign that there was no real support for change, and that would set us back even further. But I took the leap of faith and put my trust in people like you. Now, look at where we are eleven years later. Hundreds of laws passed in nearly every state. The first federal gun safety legislation in over three decades is now law. Our work—together—has saved countless lives. But the work is not done. Just like my road to recovery, there are still challenges ahead, and I need you by my side to overcome them. This is one of our last chances to raise the resources we need to support our endorsed gun safety champions.
