You know, I was sitting on my roof the other day, enjoying a nice breeze and thinking about how fall is just around the corner. And then it hit me like a ton of bratwurst - Oktoberfest is coming up tomorrow, man. Now, your Uncle Tommy has never been much of a drinker. But I sure do dig the spirit of Oktoberfest, man. I mean, it's a whole festival dedicated to food, fun, and good times with friends. What's not to like? So, naturally, I did what I always tend to do - I went down one of my classic Google rabbit holes. And let me tell you, the history of Oktoberfest is wild, man. Did you know the first Oktoberfest was basically just a royal wedding after-party that got out of hand? I'm not kidding. Back in 1810, this guy Prince Ludwig (sounds like a character from a fairy tale, right?) married Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen (try saying that three times fast after a few steins). They threw this big shindig for the people of Munich, complete with horse races, music, and of course, plenty of food and drink. The party was so good that everyone was like, "Dude, we gotta do this again next year!" And just like that, a tradition was born. Talk about a wedding favor that keeps on giving, man! It got me thinking, Oktoberfest is kinda like the OG template for 420. Think about it, man. 420 also started with a group of friends having such a great time that it took on a life of its own. Just a bunch of high school buddies in California, hanging out and creating a code word that eventually became a global thing. Now, Cheech and I don't sell beer (or should we say "bier"). We'll leave that to the Germans, man. But a party so EPIC that we've been throwing it again and again for over 200 years? I can toast to that! (Though, I'll be toasting with a [High & Dry]( as is my custom... Oooh, or maybe a high tide, 'cause it's got just a hint of that hoppy beer taste...) I mean, why settle for a hangover when you can have all the fun with zero calories, zero carbs, and zero regrets the next day? So, in honor of Oktoberfest and the spirit of good times with good friends, we're kicking off our PARTY sale! Just use the code PARTY at checkout on either [GetChongCBD.com]( or [CheechandChong.com]( to save 30% and get free shipping on all your other favorites. Keep on keepin' on, Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong P.S. Have you been to the actual Munich Oktoberfest before? If so, hit reply and share your best memory with me, man. I'd love to hear about it!   [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails? All Good Man!
