The other day I was scrolling through Instagram (I'm trying to cut back, man... but it's hard even for me!), and I saw something that really caught my eye. I came across a post of a bunch of youngsters (just for clarity, I think they were in their 20s... but that's basically a baby to me, man) at a drive-in theater - right here in LA. At first, I thought maybe it was an older picture from the 60s. But after taking another look, I realized it was from this month. Anyway, you know how I like to go down rabbit holes, so I did a little digging. And it turns out, drive-in theaters are making a comeback. I found this article that talks all about it: [( It got me thinking about the question we asked you last week during our Cousins sale: "What thing from your childhood would you love to see make a comeback" If I'm honest, drive-in theaters would probably be in my top 3, man. So I'm not surprised at all that they are making a comeback. I mean, let's be real - drive-ins are way better than regular theaters in so many ways: - You get to be outside under the stars, breathing fresh air instead of stale popcorn - You can talk during the movie without getting shushed (very helpful for when you missed something because you were a little "distracted") - Bring whatever snacks you want (or hell, bring a full meal, man) - If nature calls, no awkward shuffle past a row of strangers. (I mean, the walk to that weird little cement bathroom is a little long, but if you stay close to the other cars while you're walking, you still catch most of the movie...) . It's also got me thinking about how more and more, people seem to be coming back to the old-school stuff we used to enjoy. There's something to it, right? I read somewhere that the average American checks their phone like 144 times a day. I don't care who you are... that's exhausting, man. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying technology is bad (I mean, without it, how would I send you these emails?) But there sure is something special about sitting in your car, under the stars, watching a movie on a big screen. No notifications, no scrolling, just you and the film (and maybe some popcorn... or in our case, a [Cruise Chew]( or two). Anyway, just a random thought I wanted to share. I'm curious too - when was the last time you went to a drive-in? I say if you have one close by... why not go tonight? If you do, let me know, man Keep on keepin' on, Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong   [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails? All Good Man!
