Did you know that today is National Space Exploration Day? You know, some folks might say I've been exploring space a lot longer than our astronauts, if you catch my drift, man... But seriously, July 20th marks the anniversary of when Neil Armstrong first stepped on the moon back in '69. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Watching that grainy black-and-white TV footage of Armstrong taking that "one small step for man" – it blew my mind, man. Really, it's what really got me hooked on space as a hobby. In fact, a few years back, I even had the chance to visit NASA. Let me tell you, seeing your Uncle Tommy wandering around all those rocket scientists and fancy equipment was quite a sight. I think I confused more than a few of the eggheads there, man. Anyway, you know how I love using these special holidays as way to make the week more interesting, man. So here's what I'm planning to do today to celebrate: 1. Pop a few of our [Space Chews]( (seemed appropriate, right?) 2. Watch Apollo 13 later with Shelby (Tom Hanks, man... what a national treasure) 3. Probably scroll through [some of those new pictures from the James Webb telescope]( (talk about mind-blowing, man) 4. Sit by my phone, waiting for Elon to call and ask if I'd like to join the first Mars expedition (a guy can dream, right?) Oh, and this was too good not to share as well... This morning, I came across this deep thought online from my fellow comedian Steven Wright: "If you are in a spaceship that is traveling at the speed of light, and you turn on the headlights, does anything happen?" Now that's a far out question... It's got me wondering - do spaceships even need headlights? And if they did, would they be, like, super bright lasers or something? If any of you Cousins know, hit reply and let me know. I'm curious too – what's your favorite fact about space? Or have a favorite space movie or book? Reply back, man! And hey, if you want to celebrate Space Exploration Day the Tommy Chong way, why not pick up some [Space Chews]( They're a great choice for when you really want to go to space (without actually having to go to space... you get the point). If you're running low or haven't given them a shot yet, now's the perfect time to stock up. Keep on keepin' on, Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong   P.S. If Elon does call, I'll let you know. But I probably wouldn't hold your breath – there are probably better candidates for Mars than an 86 year old stoner with questionable lung capacity [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails?
