Well man, you know the drill! To celebrate our upcoming nation's birthday, we're kicking off our AMERICA sale (a little early this year, more on that in a minute). Starting today, you can head over to [GetChongCBD.com]( or [CheechandChong.com]( and use the code AMERICA for a very patriotic (if I do say so myself) 30% off our best sellers. Now, a word of advice from Uncle Tommy... If you're planning to host or attend a 4th of July bash, don't forget to stock up on our [High & Dry]( and [High Tide]( THC-infused beverages. I've never personally been much of a drinker myself, which is why I love our new Hemp THC drinks so much. You get the fun, social experience of sipping on a cold one, but with zero calories, zero carbs, zero alcohol, and zero hangover. Plus, the 5 mg of D-9 THC in each can makes firework displays seem a whole lot prettier, man. Anyway, we're kicking this sale off early because our beverages take a little longer to ship to most folks around the country than our other products. So if you want to stock up in time for the 4th, you gotta order by tomorrow [on our website here](. Speaking of America... As we get closer to the 4th each year, I always get to thinking about why I love this country so much. Yes, I'm proud to admit it - even with all its flaws (and especially during an election year when things can get a little... heated), your Uncle Tommy wouldn't rather be livin' anywhere else. You may not know this, but both Cheech and I have a pretty unique perspective on America. We're both citizens (me naturalized, Cheech was born here), but we've also both crossed the border illegally to get here. (I know, I know, you might be thinking, "Tommy, you're Canadian. Do Canadians really cross the border illegally?" Well let me tell you, it happens a lot more than you'd think, especially in the last few years. There's even an [article about it if you're curious]( Cheech's story is ironic, man. His parents actually crossed the Mexican border legally to give their kids a better life. But then Cheech, a born citizen, moved to Canada, where he met yours truly... Then had to sneak BACK across the Canadian/American border illegally... As for me, well, let's just say I had a little help from a Canadian friend with a creative approach to identification. When Motown rejected my green card and I had to go back to Canada, I thought my American dream was over. But where there's a will (and a fake ID, man), there's a way. I just hopped on a plane back to the states, said I was going on vacation, and... never went back. (How's that for asking for forgiveness, not permission, man?). There's actually more to this story that most people don't know, but I think you Cousins would find pretty ironic. In fact, a very surprising president was the only reason why your Uncle Tommy never ended up getting deported back to Canada (any guesses on which one hooked me up?) But hey, that's for another email. (Let me know if you want to hear it, though. It's a doozy!) The point is, America's always been a place where people come to chase their dreams, even if they have to take some, shall we say, unconventional routes to get here. It's not perfect, but it's a place where a couple of guys like Cheech and me had an opportunity to create a better life for ourselves and our families. And man, I'd say that's something worth celebrating! Keep on keepin' on Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong   P.S. Remember, make sure to pick up your High & Dry order by tomorrow if you want it in time for the 4th. Just head over to [CheechandChong.com]( now and use code AMERICA for 30% off. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
