While the election results were not at all what we had hoped, I wanted to reach out to say thank you to the very meaningful difference we made collectively in some important victories. All totaled, we raised almost $10 million in small-dollar donations for candidates up and down-the-ballot this cycle — donations you made. We also identified more than 150,000 Democrats who said they were willing to volunteer for their state party — information we passed along and hopefully got put to good use in the final weeks. But let me dig in specifically on some numbers and races: Almost 15,000 of you contributed more than $160,000 to Congressman-elect Adam Gray from California, who just won his House race by less than 200 votes. We donated $80,000 in small-dollar donations to two other winning House races in California that flipped seats from Republicans. We raised $30,000 for Janelle Bynum in Oregon, another flip in in a very close race. 35,000 of you donated almost $700,000 to Democratic Parties across the country who helped win tough races in states like New Hampshire, Nevada, Virginia and more. The margins in the House this cycle are razor close — and that wouldn't necessarily be the case without our support. There may very well be bad Republican bills that don't pass because of work we did. We also raised more than $1 million for winning Senate races — all small-dollar donations — like Elissa Slotkin, Tammy {NAME}, Jacky Rosen, and Ruben Gallego collectively. Two incumbent Senators and two new Senators who benefited from your help. And I know it meant a lot to them, because I got a lot of messages of thanks for the donations you gave. So, again, while it wasn't the result we wanted at the very top of the ticket — we did, collectively, make a huge impact on some very close and important victories for Democrats — wins that will keep the margins of the House and the Senate close enough to flip soon. Thank you for being a part of that effort, Gavin Newsom --------------------------------------------------------------- ℹ️ To my fellow Democrats — don't scroll past this. 🇺🇸 Before you go, we are humbly asking you to support Gavin Newsom's Campaign for Democracy with a contribution. If you believe Democrats need to go on offense and organize everywhere, even in Red States, we're asking you to donate $20 to help Gavin Newsom get it done. We've supported candidates and state parties across the country and that work won't stop now. It's more important than ever before. But it's only possible because of people like you who care. [Please contribute to help Gavin Newsom continue this work.]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly: [CONTRIBUTE $20]( [CONTRIBUTE OTHER]( PAID FOR BY NEWSOM FOR CALIFORNIA – GOVERNOR – 2022 This email was sent to [{EMAIL}](#).
