A new world war is on the horizon. China is marching toward its stated goal of replacing the US as world's leading superpower. Iran is possibly days away from obtaining nuclear weapons. Russia's invasion of Ukraine is just a step to additional territories. The enemies of the free world have been synchronizing their efforts to overtake America. Consider the following developments, as reported and analyzed by [Gatestone Institute]( just this month: - Honduras cut diplomatic ties with Taiwan and, in exchange for financial support, replaced them with ties to China. China now controls most of South America, including both sides of the Panama Canal. It is only a matter of time until China, in its quest for domination, has much of the world on its side. - China has resuscitated Iran's economy, even as the Islamic Republic races to the finish line with its nuclear weapons program. China and Russia have undermined the US sanctions on Iran to the point of nullifying them. A $400 billion China-Iran deal will provide Iran with desperately-needed cash, and provide China almost exclusive access to Iran's oil and other natural resources to further build up its military. - China is aligning with Russia in its war on Ukraine -- not just to save Putin from military defeat. China needs a theater in which to test new advanced weapons systems, including cutting-edge drones, before proceeding to "reunify" Taiwan. Battle-proven weapons will give China an even greater edge in its quest for military superiority. Our enemies, led by China, are advancing. For now, it is military buildups and jostling for international influence. But China has been preparing its people for war. Will the West stand up to China, Iran and Russia before it's too late? The more military power and alliances they gain, the more difficult it will be to stop them. If the West is going to fight back, the time is now – before the only choices remaining are surrendering or fighting a losing battle. Please [support Gatestone Institute's]( uncompromising independent research, as we send a message of urgency to our government and our allies around the world.
