Well, that's a wrap, {NAME}. Thank you sooooo much for all 229 people who have participated in my recent survey / giveaway. I've learned A TON about the wonderful people on my email list... And it genuinely felt inspiring to read all those unfiltered comments. (Fun fact: I manually read EVERYONE's response, one by one - without using AI at all! Why? Because I'm committed to understanding my tribe at a deeper level) So thank you once again, everyone 🙏 Now... Before I announce the 2 winners, I want to share a few quick insights I've already discovered after sifting through the data. Starting with... Insight #1: Despite 229 people clicking the survey link, only 100 completed it This is totally expected any time you run *any* type of marketing campaign... And -- considering there were 7+2 questions in this survey -- I'm very happy with these numbers. Here are more observations in case you're curious: -- The survey landing page converted at 84.3% -- Almost exactly half (51.8%) of people who started the survey finished it -- The first question (a simple "what best describes you" multiple choice) only had a 0.93% dropoff... ...but the second question, an open-ended one ("What's your biggest problem when it comes to X?") saw a massive drop of 25.8%... which demonstrates 2 things: - 25-30% of people usually immediately bounce whenever there's even a slight effort involved in an activity - This question was an AWESOME "filtering mechanism" for eliminating answers from non-serious people (which would have skewed the results!) -- After the first open-ended question, the 2nd one (also an open-ended q) had a 9% drop-off rate... but after that, drop-off rates basically plummeted to 1-3% per question. Insight #2: Most people on my current list say they want more leads more than anything And honestly -- despite this usually being a "surface-level problem" in most cases -- I'm not terribly surprised. Why? Because over the last 6 months, the composition of my list has experienced a DRAMMATIC shift! You see... When I originally started my list back in 2019, my first lead magnet was "The Ultimate Email Checklist", which primarily attracted online business owners and marketers who wanted to up their email game. Then, as I grew my [YouTube channel](=) and created TONS of authority-building content on direct response copywriting and sales letters, I started attracting thousands of copywriters... And now, with the launch of my recent book, and primary lead magnet nowadays -- [The Rapid Lead Activator]() -- I started attracting coaches, consultants, experts, and creators. That's quite the "audience evolution"! And it just shows you how freakin' important your lead magnet is when it comes to attracting specific audiences. Do you have a lead magnet for helping people land their first client? You're gonna attract newbies. Or is your lead magnet designed to help people package their skills into an online course? You're gonna attract lots of overworked 1-on-1 service providers who want to productize their services and build more leverage. Or maybe your lead magnet is about "Rapid Lead Activation"? Well... in that case, you're gonna attract lots of people who either: A - Don't have enough leads in their pipeline and are struggling with consistent sales or B - They have OK lead flow... but they don't have a proven system for properly following up with them So the important takeaway is this: Your lead magnet is your #1 filtering mechanism for building the list you want... And most people only think of it as a "tactical" tool. But this is wrong. It's NOT a tactical tool... It's actually a high-level strategic asset that can make or break your entire business model! So give your next lead magnet some extra thought before launching it ;) Insight #3: The % of people on my list who have their own list is lower than I thought I thought that -- since my Rapid Lead Activator book is all about sending people the first 5 follow-up emails -- it would primarily attract people with email lists... (since what else would you use those follow-up emails for) But apparently, I was mistaken. Only 48.6% of my peeps have a list of their own... and in their case ...44% - between 1-500 ...56% - more than 500 Which means the latest promo I ran... (The one when I was looking to help people find some hidden gold in their business... and they had to have at least 700 people on their list to quality) Basically eliminated about 80% of the people on my list almost immediately. A way better offer would have been something like: "I'm looking for 5 people who want to start an email list / newsletter from scratch and get their first 500 subscribers" Or... "I'm looking for 5 people who want to grow their existing email list / newsletter with high-quality subscribers to 2-3k people" Those would have worked better because of the wider appeal. Of course, there are certain things I CAN do for people without lists... and some things I CAN'T. I can't, for example, reliably help them unlock an extra $5-10k in their business within 30 days if their don't have an already-existing audience to work with. (Now, that doesn't mean it's impossible... far from it! But it's waaay harder to do reliably) So yeah... Based on all the data, I'm fairly confident my next paid training (launching sometime in June!) will be some sort of live workshop / intensive about building & growing a targeted, loyal, and responsive email list. Would you be interested in something like that, {NAME}? If so... hit reply and let me know! In the meantime, more good stuff incoming soon ;) -Csaba P.S. -- Oh... and before I forget... the winners: The winner of the 30-minute coaching call is... Barbara Drady.
