The increase applies from the first pay period starting on or after 1 July 2024.   Some of our pay tools have now been updated with new rates.     What you can do now To find out your new increased pay rates that apply from the first pay period starting on or after 1 July 2024, you can:  - use our [Pay and Conditions Tool]( to calculate the new pay rates  - go to our [Pay guides]( page to access the updated pay guide for your award.  We’re updating our other website information and resources with the new pay rates. These will be available from 1 July 2024.    An updated version of the [Fair Work Information Statement]( will also be available from 1 July 2024.  Learn more about the minimum wage increase at [2023 to 2024 Annual Wage Review]( (bookmark this page and check back for updates).    Other 1 July 2024 changes From 1 July 2024, there are other changes employers and employees should know about. These include:  - the [additional fixed term contract exceptions being extended](   - changes as part of the [‘Closing Loopholes’ laws]( including:  - new rules for right of entry permits and exemption certificates  - rights and protections for workplace delegates under awards and enterprise agreements.
