Add 0-DTE to Calendar This Week’s Zero-Days-to-Expiration Trade Ideas ⏳➡️⌛?

Add 0-DTE to Calendar [Apple]( [Google]( [Office 365]( [Outlook]( [Outlook.com]( This Week’s Zero-Days-to-Expiration Trade Ideas ⏳➡️⌛️ Hey there, team Full-Scope! It’s Thursday afternoon, which means I just finished my weekly trading Cheat Meal: Live 0-DTE trades, with a special guest today: Ethan Harms! If you weren’t able to catch the live broadcast, happening every Thursday at 12:30 ET right [HERE]( (← so bookmark the room, and [add it to your calendar]( of you haven’t already!)... You’ll find this week’s “Junk Food” trade ideas below. As a reminder, these are our version of “lotto-style” trade ideas… EXTREMELY short-dated options with enormous volatility. But before we get into it, let’s look at how last week’s plays worked out… Last week on 3/24/22 I mentioned these trades: FB Long Contract: $220 Calls Ben coming in strong here with another ‘once, twice, three times the lady’ move here in FB, so he’s looking at these here for 1.70. They had great open interest and volume before today. While they may be ‘more expensive’, Ben likes this ‘Lotto’ style pick in FB. Of note; Ben would also consider the $222.50 calls for .93 as well. The option contract went all the way to 4.50+ the next day! AAPL Long HONORABLE MENTION Contract: $172.50 Calls Ethan says ‘after having an amazing day yesterday’ with the stock starting a ‘30 minute squeeze’, he likes these for .69 since the stock ‘looks like it wants to do something’. And sure enough, the contracts traded all the way to 2.00+! Reminder: All “0-DTE” contracts expire tomorrow, April 1, unless otherwise noted. AAL Long Contract: $18.50 Calls Ethan likes this stock. He says a weekly squeeze behind it and is looking at the $18.50 level. They are going for around .15 each contract and have seen a lot of volume there today. OXY Long Contract: $60 Calls Ben likes this because he sees a squeeze here on the charts. He is looking for OXY to hold the VWAP here. Therefore he is looking at the $60 calls here for .31 the most for a break in the stock above $59. CHPT Long Contract: $20 Calls Ethan sees a similar dynamic as AAL in CHPT in terms of watching the levels on the stock here. It’s been green today and holding the VWAP. Therefore he likes the $20 calls here for .28 with the squeeze potential he sees on the 30 minute chart. CAT Long Contract: $225 Calls Ben sees the ATR (average true range) at $5.00 being enough of the ‘squeeze’ here in addition to CAT being in position to break the range. He likes these at a break above $225. The contracts are trading at 1.29. FSLR Long HONORABLE MENTION Contract: $85 Calls Ethan noted that the spike up and move up means that it could be knocking on the door of $90 soon. The $85 calls are trading at .68 here. There is ‘good volume’ here as well in his eyes which add to the value. FB Put HONORABLE MENTION Contract: $220 Ben is looking at FB on the downside here. There is a ‘pretty nasty bearish engulfing candle’ here according to Ben. This is one that Ben thinks will either work, or it won’t. If FB can break $223.60 then Ben likes these for .62 should that breach to the downside happen. As always, keep in mind that these are my (or Ethan’s) trades, and we have our own objectives and risk-tolerance, which may dramatically differ from yours. “0-DTE” and similar “lotto-style” trades are not for everyone. They are, by their nature, lower-probability, higher-upside-potential trades that are not for the faint of heart.
