This has been much requested... ?awt_a=AK8l&awt_l=GQL63&awt_m=3kppisbo7FZob8l Introducing the Wilderness Wayfinder course... Hello, Paul Kirtley here with a Frontier Bushcraft course update for you. As a Frontier Bushcraft Newsletter subscriber, you are among the first to know about any new developments here at Frontier Bushcraft. So, I'm very happy to let you know we have a new course for 2025. This has been much requested. It's a full week-long navigation skills course. It's called the [Wilderness Wayfinder](. The Wilderness Wayfinder is our new flagship navigation course. It is an in-depth six-day programme examining all aspects of land navigation. The course incorporates traditional wayfinding methodologies, natural navigation knowledge, map reading, compass skills, time and distance techniques, and even the integration of GPS. This new course certainly builds on our 2-day Navigation 101 course but the 2-day course is not a pre-requisite for the Wilderness Wayfinder. You can jump straight into the new week-long course to develop your navigation skills to a high level if you wish. Equally, if you have already done some navigational training, such as our 2-day course, the Wilderness Wayfinder will consolidate existing skills and add a good deal of new understanding on top. Click [here]( to see the course description and review the extensive course syllabus I will be running the course and bringing in all my experience in undertaking trips in the UK, Europe, North America, South America and Australia, where a high level of navigational competence was required. These, of course, include hiking and backpacking but also ski touring, snow shoeing and canoeing. Like me, other Frontier Bushcraft team members who will be instructing on the course are UK Mountain Leader qualified. We'll only be running one of these courses in 2025 and I am sure it will be a popular course. A week-long navigation course has been much requested from our previous course participants. Hence, I would recommend early booking. There are only 12 places available in total. Here are the full details and where you can book... [( I hope to see you on the course! Warm regards, - Paul Paul Kirtley Founder, Director and Lead Instructor Frontier Bushcraft. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
