Hey {NAME},  Last week, I mentioned that I was bracing myself for a high-stakes call with one of my clients. And I promised that I would give you an update about what happened.  Well, this is that update.  But first, I need to say “thank you” for all of the supportive replies wishing me luck.  It means a lot that so many of you took the time to reach out.  And it clearly worked!  Because I don’t think the call could have gone any better.  Now in case you missed it, here’s the background…  I wrote a video sales letter script for a client. And we were running out of time to get it approved before we had to start filming.  But the narrator still had a number of fundamental concerns with the script.  On top of that, I also have a substantial royalty attached to this project. Which means if it doesn’t perform well, I will miss out on a significant source of revenue.  So I was bracing for a difficult conversation because of the pressure we’re all facing.  And I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to keep my composure. Or that I would fail to make a strong enough case to preserve the elements I believe are essential to the success of the project. So they would wind up cut from the script — tanking the performance in the process.  But I’m happy to say that none of my concerns came to pass.  Everyone on the call was supportive, collaborative, and open to changing their mind. And while I did have to make a relatively large number of edits to the script, I also don’t think we cut anything that will seriously decrease the performance.  So now I sit and wait for the production team to film the script and edit the video together. And then I cross my fingers that it becomes an instant bestseller when we launch it to the marketplace!  I’ll make sure to keep you in the loop as it moves along.  Until next week,  -Brian [Unsubscribe]( | [Edit your details]( Freelance Like A Pro PO Box 281 Bloomingdale New Jersey 07403 United States [Powered By Kartra] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
