Hey {NAME},  I just got back from an amazing trip with my wife, parents, and in-laws.  In case you missed it, we went to spend a few nights living in a house designed by [one of the greatest architects of all time](.  But it wasn’t all positive…  See, I just signed a new client right before we left. And we wound up having a disagreement about one of the terms in the contract after it was signed.  So I found myself struggling to be present at times during the trip. Since I would remember the unread email I had from this new client waiting for me when I get back. And it would cause me to start ruminating about all the ways this project could go wrong when I got back from my trip.  Now the good news is my preoccupation with this difficult situation didn’t interrupt too much of my trip. And I was still able to enjoy the vast majority of my time away.  But this is one of the sacrifices you make when you become your own boss. You have a lot more responsibility. Which means it becomes much harder to leave your work behind when you want to take time off.  And I wanted to be honest about that with you. That way you won’t feel like you’re alone or doing something wrong if it happens to you in the future.  Until next week,  -Brian  P.S. Here I am standing in the backyard of the house we were staying at for the past few days.   [Unsubscribe]( | [Edit your details]( Freelance Like A Pro PO Box 281 Bloomingdale New Jersey 07403 United States [Powered By Kartra] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
