We watched Democrats bring three CRITICAL pieces of gun safety legislation – including a federal assault weapons ban – to the floor for a vote for the first time in YEARS. Then, we watched gun-lobby-backed Republicans BLOCK all three bills. And our country watched TWO mass shootings happen at the very same time this was unfolding in the Senate. Republicans have proven they are incapable of taking action against gun violence. While Democrats prove consistently that they WILL take action. The Biden Administration and Democrats have already: → Established the FIRST-EVER White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. → Passed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the biggest gun safety bill in DECADES. → Signed DOZENS of executive orders to protect our communities from gun violence. …And so much more. But Trump BRAGGED about doing NOTHING to protect our communities from gun violence during his first term – when his inaction cost my cousin Alex his life. And he even SWORE he would destroy all the progress our movement has made if he takes the White House back in November. So, trust me when I say that we need to protect all this groundbreaking progress and continue our momentum – but that will only be possible with a gun safety Majority. [Please, {NAME}.
