Plus - T.J. MIN: T.J. Hockenson may miss start of season [Source: ESPN.com](=) Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) may be out until October as he had to delay surgery to repair his anterior cruciate ligament until Jan. 29 in order to let his medial collateral ligament heal. Our view: This is something that needs to be monitored in the offseason, but more specifically, when we get back to training camp in the summer. Hockenson injured his knee on Christmas Eve, so it would be miraculous if he's ready for Week 1. Instead, he could be put on PUP to begin the 2024 season. That would mean he's out for six weeks to begin the season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. CHI: Chicago putting first overall pick up for sale? [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields could be staying put after all, as multiple teams have reportedly approached the Bears about trading up for the No. 1 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. According to sources, Chicago appears to be 'leaning toward' moving the pick. Our view: The Bears have Fields in place, and teammates love him. However, they do have a chance at getting perhaps a generational talent at quarterback in USC's Caleb Williams. The price for no1 overall is going to be steep, but for Williams there will be quite a few teams willing to pay. WAS: Washington hiring Brian Johnson [Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler](=) Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson is expected to be hired by the Washington Commanders as the pass-game coordinator, according to sources Thursday, Feb. 8. Our view: The Commanders need to find a quarterback. They have the no2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, and there's a chance they move up to no1 overall for USC QB Caleb Williams. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. LAC: Mike Williams making progress [Source: Chargers.com - Omar Navarro](=) Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (knee) said he is 'slightly ahead' of schedule in his recovery from knee surgery. 'It's just timelines and stuff we were trying to meet and I'm hitting those timelines ahead of schedule,' Williams said. 'So, everything is looking good.' Our view: All signs point to Williams being ready for training camp. We're certain the Chargers will take it easy on him during the offseason, and they may even keep him out of preseason games. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. TEN: Tennessee to hire Bo Hardegree [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport](=) Former Las Vegas Raiders OC Bo Hardegree is expected to be hired as the quarterbacks coach for the Tennessee Titans, according to sources Thursday, Feb. 8. Our view: We'll see Hardegree work with QB Will Levis in Tennessee. When healthy, Levis flashed during his rookie season. We'll see if he can stay healthy and continue to develop as a pro passer. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. LVR: JoJo Wooden bolting for Las Vegas [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Los Angeles Chargers director of player personnel JoJo Wooden is expected to join the Las Vegas Raiders in a high-ranking executive role, according to sources. Our view: Wooden gets to work with HC Antonio Pierce to find players that can make the Raiders competitive. They have a good core of players, but they're also in arguably the toughest division in football (AFC West). [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. CIN: Cincinnati announces three coaching changes [Source: Bengals.com]( Former Minnesota Vikings assistant offensive line coach Justin Rascati was named as the new pass game coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, Feb. 8. Assistant quarterbacks coach Brad Kragthorpe was promoted to quarterback coach, while assistant linebackers coach Jordan Kovacs was promoted to secondary/safeties coach. Our view: The Bengals only need QB Joe Burrow to stay healthy and they will be Super Bowl contenders. The changes to the staff will work to get the best out of Burrow and the skill position players around him. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
